Juan Rando Dance Academy is Perth’s first and largest Argentine Tango Dance Academy.  We offer an extensive lineup of classes just for people who love and want to develop in this dance.  All under the tutealge of Perth’s most experienced teachers who are full time dedicated to their love of this dance.

TANGO /PLAY/ – Monday Nights – 4 Levels

Four levels of classes.  Keeping it light and focused on getting you moving and dancing as much as possible.

TANGO /AGOGE/ – Thursday Nights – Up to 5 Levels

Welcome to the “Agoge”. As you come to appreciate how important good technique is to be a beautiful, well connected, stonge dancer, “THE AGOGE” is where you”l want to be.  Designed to compliment our more playful Monday Classes, the AGOGE will work you hard so that you’ll be ready for higher levels.

Argentine Tango is a passionate and elegant communication between two people. Each partner can express musical moods through improvised movements.

Tango originated in the Rio de la Plata at the turn of the last century. Tango was born within the immigrant and lower class communities in this area. During the next few decades, Tango spread throughout South American society and then throughout the world.

Juan Rando is known throughout Australia as one of Tango foremost dancers and teachers. Through Juan Rando, JRDA has become Perth’s premier academy for the study and development of Argentine Tango for performers, professionals, and social dancers.
